為落實本校教職員生之學術誠信與增進學術倫理素養，本校已訂定「亞洲大學學術倫理管理及自律規範」，並設置「亞洲大學學術倫理委員會」與學術倫理中心（Office of Research Integrity, ORI）。透過完備的制度與多層次預防機制，有效杜絕學術違規事件。 To implement academic integrity among our faculty, staff, and students, and to enhance literacy in academic ethics, the university has formulated the "Asia University Academic Ethics Management and Self-Regulation Guidelines" and established the "Asia University Academic Ethics Committee" and the Office of Research Integrity (ORI). Through a comprehensive system and multi-level prevention mechanisms, academic violations are effectively eliminated.
依據「亞洲大學大學教職員學術倫理教育課程實施要點」，本校專任與專案教師、研究人員、臨床教師以及專業技術人員，皆須參加相關學術倫理研習課程獲得認證。在職人員須於三年內完成至少二小時研習時數；新進教研人員則須於獲聘一年內完成至少六小時研習，目前維持 100% 的完美達成率。 According to the "Asia University Implementation Guidelines for Faculty and Staff Academic Ethics Education Courses," full-time and project-based faculty, researchers, clinical instructors, and professional technicians must participate in relevant academic ethics training courses to obtain certification. Current personnel must complete at least two hours of training within three years; new faculty and researchers must complete at least six hours within one year of hire, currently maintaining a perfect completion rate of 100%.
本校涉及違反學術倫理之案件，均依照「亞洲大學學術倫理案件審議辦法」與「亞洲大學學術倫理案件處理標準作業流程」進行客觀公正之審議，在維護本校聲譽的同時，充分保障當事人權益。針對碩、博士學位論文違反學術倫理案件之處理，亦已依據「學位授予法」及「專科以上學校學術倫理案件處理原則」規定，訂定「亞洲大學碩、博士班學位違反學術倫理案件處理要點」，設立公正客觀的處理程序，所有防止教師與學生違反學術倫理之預防目標，係全面參照教育部與國科會的要求標準而設立。 Cases involving violations of academic ethics at our university are deliberated objectively and fairly in accordance with the "Asia University Regulations for the Deliberation of Academic Ethics Cases" and the "Asia University Standard Operating Procedures for Handling Academic Ethics Cases," fully protecting the rights of the parties involved while safeguarding the university's reputation. Regarding the handling of master's and doctoral thesis violations of academic ethics, the "Asia University Guidelines for Handling Academic Ethics Violations in Master's and Doctoral Degrees" have been enacted based on the "Degree Conferral Act" and the "Principles for Handling Academic Ethics Cases in Institutions of Higher Education or Above," establishing just and objective procedures. All preventive targets to prevent faculty and students from violating academic ethics are established in full compliance with the standards required by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
為了降低師生違反學術倫理的情事，本校提供 Turnitin 論文原創性比對系統供教師申請使用。研究所學生於提出畢業口試前，需要經由指導教授協助進行比對，在比對結果低於各系所訂定的標準下，始得提出論文初稿。申請正式畢業口試時，更需檢附台灣學術倫理教育資源中心的六小時研習證明與原創性比對結果，雙重把關以確保學術品質。 To reduce occurrences of academic ethics violations among faculty and students, the university provides the Turnitin thesis originality comparison system for faculty applications. Graduate students must conduct a comparison with the assistance of their advisors before submitting their graduation oral defense. The initial draft of the thesis may only be submitted if the comparison result is lower than the standards set by each department or institute. When applying for the formal graduation oral defense, they must attach a 6-hour training certificate from the Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education along with the originality comparison results, executing double gatekeeping to ensure academic quality.
此外，研究發展處每學年均會協同校務研究發展中心辦理一場有關學術或研究倫理的研習，亦將他校辦理的學術倫理研習活動實時公告於研發處網頁，確保師生掌握最新的學術觀念與自律規範。 In addition, the Office of Research and Development collaborates with the Office of Institutional Research and Development every academic year to host a seminar on academic or research ethics. It also posts academic ethics workshops held by other universities in real time on its website to ensure that faculty and students stay informed about the latest academic concepts and self-regulation codes.
隨著生成式 AI 技術之發展，學術倫理亦面臨新挑戰。本校明確規範：凡於研究中使用生成式 AI 協助者，應充分揭露其使用情形，並對研究內容負最終責任，以維持科技創新與學術誠信之平衡。 With the rapid development of generative AI technology, academic ethics face new challenges. The university explicitly mandates: anyone who utilizes generative AI to assist in research must fully disclose its usage and bear ultimate responsibility for the research content, thereby maintaining a balance between technological innovation and academic integrity.
經多年持續宣導與制度化審查機制之推動，本校近年師生涉及學術倫理之情形已有顯著改善，各類疑似案例均經由學術倫理委員會啟動客觀程序嚴謹審議。 Thanks to years of continuous promotion and the advancement of institutionalized review mechanisms, occurrences involving academic ethics among faculty and students have improved significantly in recent years. All suspected cases undergo rigorous deliberation via objective procedures initiated by the Academic Ethics Committee.
