亞洲大學護理學院，舉辦「開拓護理教學新紀元：元宇宙∞永續發展SDGs」研習暨工作坊，探討元宇宙與永續發展SDGs在護理教育發展趨勢，及展示推動護理元宇宙教學創新應用成果。有全國各醫療院所、科技照護產業、護理學校等護理主管、護理師、教師、工程師、研究生等報名，共230人參與實體和線上研習。
The College of Nursing at Asia University (AU) hosted the seminar and workshop titled "Pioneering a New Era in Nursing Education: Metaverse ∞ Sustainable Development SDGs." The event explored development trends of the Metaverse and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within nursing education, while showcasing innovative pedagogical applications. Attracting nursing directors, registered nurses, educators, engineers, and graduate students from medical institutions, tech-care industries, and nursing institutions across Taiwan, a total of 230 participants engaged via physical and online synchronous formats.
亞大副校長兼教務長陳大正代表吳聰能表示，亞大致力發展人工智慧，並將聯合國永續發展目標SDGs融入教學、校園。護理學院表現特別亮眼，面對元宇宙浪潮，與宏達電公司簽署合作意向書，產學攜手建置全台唯一的「護理元宇宙基地」，推廣元宇宙在醫療照護的應用。
On behalf of Vice President Thung-In Wu, AU Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs Ta-Cheng Chen remarked that AU is deeply committed to artificial intelligence development and embedding the UN SDGs into curriculum and campus culture. The College of Nursing has delivered brilliant results; encountering the tech wave, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HTC Corporation to establish Taiwan's first and only "Nursing Metaverse Base," proactively advancing metaverse applications in clinical healthcare.

護理學院院長吳樺姍指出，此次研習主題「元宇宙∞永續發展SDGs」，意味著元宇宙有無限應用可能性。護理學院以永續發展教育、培育永續智慧照護人才為框架，培訓教師成為元宇宙教材種子，進而新創未來護理中心之元宇宙學習基地，完整發展VR、AR各專科護理教案、及對應SDGs的VR教案，全面適用在教學現場，有良好成效。
Hua-Shan Wu, Dean of the College of Nursing, pointed out that the theme "Metaverse ∞ Sustainable Development SDGs" signifies the limitless application boundaries of virtual platforms. Operating under the framework of sustainability education and cultivating intelligent caregiving talents, the college has trained faculty members to become seeds for metaverse courseware. This in turn blossomed into the new Metaverse Learning Base within the Future Nursing Center, fully spinning off specialized nursing VR/AR clinical scenarios and SDG-aligned VR lesson plans that fit smoothly into pedagogical environments with profound outcomes.
宏達電醫學VR總監張庭榕，根據多年國內外VR教學發展經驗，強調未來醫學、護理及臨床教育，導入虛擬實境，十分重要的方法。護理系老師彭逸稘分享，教育部教學實踐計劃「蓋爾的移動病房-以情境式擴增實境提升護生基本護理技能之成效」成果，並展示利用手機或iPad掃描護理技術模型上的AR marker，顯示技術示範擴增實境，可有效增進同學的基本護理知識與技能。
Ting-Jung Chang, Medical VR Director at HTC, highlighted from extensive global experience that integrating virtual reality into future medicine, nursing, and clinical training represents an imperative methodology. AU Nursing Instructor Yi-Chi Peng presented outcomes of her MOE Teaching Practice Research Project, "Howl's Moving Ward: Effectiveness of Contextual Augmented Reality in Improving Fundamental Nursing Skills of Nursing Students." She demoed using a mobile device to scan AR markers on educational models, generating a graphic overlay that effectively amplifies students' core nursing knowledge and technical skills.
與會學員在亞大未來護理中心暨護理元宇宙基地，體驗各項護理創新、永續發展、人體解剖、緊急救護等多元VR教案，與研華、漢大科技攜手建置的iWard智慧病房，及運用智慧高階模擬人Kelly進行情境雙實作，讓他們稱讚亞大護理學院教學深具特色，已率先塑造出元宇宙教學品牌。
At AU's Future Nursing Center and Nursing Metaverse Base, attendees personally experimented with versatile VR scripts spanning nursing innovation, sustainable development, anatomy, and emergency rescue. They also previewed the iWard Smart Ward developed alongside Advantech and Handata, performing dual situational practices using the high-fidelity simulator "Kelly." Attendees lauded the highly distinct pedagogy of AU's College of Nursing, which has successfully spearheaded an avant-garde brand in metaverse education.

A Head Nurse from a renal dialysis unit commented that the seminar yielded immense rewards, particularly regarding how new technologies translate to nursing education, adding that she was deeply amazed by AU's robust growth in the AR/VR metaverse domain.
