亞洲大學展現創新永續卓越科研成果。在「2022全球物聯網與智慧服務大會」中脫穎而出，榮獲組織選拔的「永續創新獎」，12日由亞洲大學校長蔡進發代表接受獎項。大會肯定亞大以校園為範疇，建構智慧防疫邁向永續發展、打造智慧化全球第一個智慧村（AI-Village）、建立智慧教育數位平台、並肯定亞大邁向「永續發展的綠色大學」。
Asia University (AU) has showcased its innovative, sustainable, and exceptional scientific research achievements. Standing out at the "2022 Global IoT and Smart Service Conference," AU was honored with the "Sustainability Innovation Award," accepted by AU President Jeffrey J. P. Tsai on November 12. The conference highly commended AU for using its campus as a living lab to build smart pandemic prevention mechanisms towards sustainable development, establish the world's first intelligent "AI-Village," create a smart digital platform for education, and reinforce AU's robust progression towards becoming a "Sustainable Green University."
台灣物聯網協會(TIOTA)主辦「全球物聯網與智慧服務大會」，為國內最重要、最具權威的智慧服務獎項，2022年特別增設「永續獎」，獎勵在資訊服務與雲端等重大研發成果卓越，亞大也是唯一獲選的大學。落實永續實務成果、建構校園物聯網智慧園產、落實校園減碳，在國內規範與節能減碳要求上市櫃公司全面落實的趨勢下，將進一步帶動數位轉型、具備深遠意義。
The "Global IoT and Smart Service Conference," hosted by the Taiwan Internet of Things Association (TIOTA), represents one of the most prominent and authoritative smart service honors domestically. The 2022 edition specially introduced the "Sustainability Award" to recognize outstanding R&D achievements in information services and cloud technologies, with AU being the sole university selected. AU's dedication to implementing sustainable practical outcomes, building campus IoT ecosystems, and achieving carbon reduction holds profound significance in driving digital transformation, especially at a time when domestic regulations demand listed companies to comprehensively enforce energy-saving and carbon-reduction initiatives.

蔡校長發表指出，亞大致力創新和社會責任，一直積極推動學校導向與永續發展，透過智慧技術與創新思維，優化校園基礎建設，建構涵蓋淨零、節能、節水、防洪等環境指標。同時，也將各指標進行數位升級與推動、建構一整套完整的永續環境治理中心，讓亞大全面數字轉型、實現多元性的視野發展。
President Tsai noted that AU is deeply committed to innovation and social responsibility. The university proactively drives sustainability initiatives by leveraging smart technologies and innovative mindsets to optimize campus infrastructure, establishing crucial environmental metrics across net-zero carbon, energy conservation, water efficiency, and flood prevention. Concurrently, the digital upgrading of these indicators facilitates a comprehensive sustainable environmental governance center, driving AU's thorough digital transformation and realizing a multi-dimensional vision for development.

AU Chief Information Officer Great-Cheng Chen expressed that AU's intelligent campus integrates barrier-free smart technology with an environmental management center, significantly elevating the accessibility and utility of educational infrastructure. Furthermore, it forecasts climate and energy metrics to steer AU toward a comprehensive digital transformation.
亞大已有1460門課程與融入聯合國SDGs永續發展指標，在建築資訊的綠管或綠能、行政廣度與文案內涵將更新升級、使永續與綠色數位轉型全面落實。
AU has already integrated the United Nations' SDGs into 1,460 courses. Moving forward, green management in building information modeling, renewable energy applications, and administrative workflows will be systematically upgraded, ensuring the comprehensive implementation of sustainable and green digital transformation.
