(1) 參與永續相關之國際聯盟 / Participation in Sustainability-Related International Alliances

本校參與英國泰晤士報高教特刊（Times Higher Education，THE）每年辦理大學影響力評比，並接收與傳遞THE對於全球永續發展訊息與全校師生。每年更透過聯合國永續發展目標進行全校評核，並對本校整體在永續發展中進行一次具體的整體績效評比。

Our university participates in the annual University Impact Rankings organized by Times Higher Education (THE), actively communicating THE's global sustainability developments to our faculty and students. Each year, a comprehensive school-wide evaluation is conducted based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to provide a concrete assessment of the university's overall performance in sustainable development.

本校於2018年與美國、澳洲、印尼、孟加拉、馬來西亞、泰國以及埃及等21所大學，共同簽屬由印尼Airlangga大學所倡議成立的世界大學社區發展聯盟（World Universities Association for Community Development, WUACD）協議迄今，為創始會員校之一，一同為解決發展落後地區的社區發展問題攜手合作。

Since 2018, the university has been a proud founding member of the World Universities Association for Community Development (WUACD), initiated by Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia. Alongside 21 universities from countries including the United States, Australia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, and Egypt, we have signed cooperative agreements to work together in addressing community development challenges in underdeveloped regions.

2025及2026年各參加一場由印尼Airlangga大學所舉辦的世界大學社區發展聯盟(WUACD)交流會議，不僅展現了校方在大學社會責任與永續發展領域的國際影響力，更為跨國學術與社區計畫提供貢獻。

Attending the World Universities Association for Community Development (WUACD) exchange conferences hosted by Universitas Airlangga in both 2025 and 2026 not only demonstrated the university's international influence in the fields of university social responsibility and sustainable development, but also contributed significantly to cross-border academic and community initiatives.

2025年11月，本校永續發展辦公室組長，醫學檢驗暨生物技術學系副教授姚雅莉代表亞大參加WUACD主辦的「2025年WUACD理事會線上會議」。本次會議核心聚焦於社區發展、永續性及學術合作。透過線上參與，亞洲大學與國際夥伴校共同討論如何整合各校資源，以實現聯盟的共同目標。2026年1月，姚組長再度代表亞洲大學出席「2026年WUACD協調會議」。本次會議旨在提供夥伴大學交流與回饋意見的平台，並為即將到來的2026 WUACD峰會及「第15屆韓國、東協生物質利用聯合研討會」預作準備。亞洲大學的參與，展現了校方對於深化國際鏈結及推動前瞻性合作計畫的影響力與貢獻。

In November 2025, Associate Professor Ya-Li Yao from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology, who serves as the Section Chief of the Office of Sustainable Development, represented Asia University at the "2025 WUACD Board Meeting (Online)" hosted by WUACD. The meeting focused primarily on community development, sustainability, and academic collaboration. Through online participation, Asia University and international partner institutions discussed resource integration to achieve the alliance's common goals. In January 2026, Section Chief Yao again represented Asia University at the "2026 WUACD Coordination Meeting." This meeting aimed to provide a platform for partner universities to exchange ideas and feedback, laying the groundwork for the upcoming 2026 WUACD Summit and the "15th Korea-ASEAN Joint Symposium on Biomass Utilization." Asia University's active participation highlights its commitment to deepening international ties and its contributions to forward-looking collaborative projects.

校級與系所之國際深度交流
In-depth International Exchanges at University and Departmental Levels

亞洲大學國際學院致力於打造高等教育國際化校園。目前本校與世界386所大學簽訂姊妹校(不含與中國大陸80所)，其中113學年度新簽訂與續簽的合作協議有65件，未來新簽訂與續簽的合作協議以10%成長為目標。簽訂的姊妹校遍及五大洲，其中以東南亞、南亞及東北亞為大宗，特別是印尼、印度、蒙古、越南等國。本校在印尼，以位於泗水的台教中心為基地，與許多印尼知名學府合作，深耕印尼在地國際生源。本校將2025年設定為印度年Year of India，計畫加深與印度姊妹校的合作關係，吸引更多印度學生來本校就讀。同時，也會持續與美國、加拿大、德國、英國、義大利等國際名校簽定合作協議，增加姊妹校數，以利提升本校核心競爭力，接軌國際。為竭力提供學生優質的教學、研究、服務環境，以培養富有全球視野、高度人文關懷之高級專業人才，本校設有「諾貝爾大師論壇」，邀請諾貝爾得獎學者來本校與全校師生進行講學交流。

The International College of Asia University is dedicated to building an internationalized higher education campus. Currently, the university has established sister-school ties with 386 universities worldwide (excluding 80 in mainland China). Among these, 65 new and renewed cooperation agreements were signed in the 2024 academic year (113th Academic Year), with a target of 10% growth for future agreements. Our sister schools span five continents, with the majority located in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Northeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, India, Mongolia, and Vietnam. In Indonesia, leveraging the Taiwan Education Center in Surabaya as a base, we collaborate with many prestigious Indonesian institutions to cultivate local enrollment. The university designated 2025 as the "Year of India," planning to deepen cooperation with Indian sister universities to attract more Indian students. Concurrently, we will continue signing partnerships with elite universities in the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, and Italy to increase sister-school numbers, boost core competitiveness, and connect globally. To provide students with premium teaching, research, and service environments—nurturing advanced professionals with global perspectives and deep humanitarian care—the university hosts the "Nobel Laureate Forum," inviting Nobel prize winners to exchange knowledge with faculty and students.

除了學術上的國際交流，本校也以產學合作的模式建立跨國合作關係，以利永續發展的實踐。本校與印度SASTRA大學合作開設半導體專班，共同培育國際半導體人才；目前，已有19位學生已完成此專班，另有9位正在此專班中接受修習。除了半導體產業，本校也在健康管理學系設立國際專修部培育長照產業所需之海外青年人才。此外，本校也與馬來西亞最大華報之一的光華日報簽訂產學合作協議，培育資訊傳播專業人才。

Beyond academic exchanges, the university establishes transnational partnerships through industry-academia collaboration models to realize sustainable development. In cooperation with SASTRA University in India, we launched a semiconductor special program to co-cultivate international semiconductor talent; currently, 19 students have completed the program, and 9 are currently enrolled. Aside from the semiconductor industry, the university has also established an International Foundation Program within the Department of Healthcare Administration to nurture overseas youth talent for the long-term care industry. Furthermore, we signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Kwong Wah Yit Poh, one of Malaysia's largest Chinese newspapers, to cultivate professionals in information communication.

培育學生為國際公民：亞大 318 計畫
Cultivating Students into Global Citizens: The AU 318 Program

為了讓學生具備國際視野，本校特別打造「亞大318」國際化計畫，讓學生具備中文、英文、程式語言3種語言能力，在學期間出國1次，並提供8種途徑出國，包括短期研修、交換生、雙聯學位、發表論文、海外實習、國際志工、國際設計發明競賽和新南向築夢等。各院學系配合亞大318國際化計畫，提供學生於寒暑期前往海外名校、機構交流及實習的機會，如經管系陳崇昊教授帶領學生前往新加坡樟宜國際機場實習，不少學生畢業後被留用；時尚系每年有2至3人獲選到美國紐約吳季剛公司實習，已成為時尚系的特色之一。海外實習計畫受到教育部學海築夢及新南向學海築夢計畫補助。

To expand students' international horizons, the university established the "AU 318" internationalization initiative. This program empowers students with three language proficiencies (Chinese, English, and programming languages), ensures they go abroad at least once during their studies, and offers eight pathways for doing so: short-term study abroad, exchange student programs, dual-degree programs, paper presentations, overseas internships, international volunteering, international design & invention competitions, and the New Southbound Study Abroad Program. Departments across colleges align with the AU 318 program to offer students winter and summer opportunities for exchange and internships at elite overseas institutions and organizations. For instance, Professor Chung-Hao Chen from the Department of Business Administration led students to intern at Singapore Changi Airport, where many were hired upon graduation. Additionally, 2 to 3 students from the Department of Fashion Design are selected annually to intern at Jason Wu's company in New York, becoming a signature highlight of the department. These overseas internship programs are well-supported by the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad (Xuehai Zhumeng) and New Southbound Xuehai Zhumeng programs.

在積極營造一個具有國際氛圍的校園，以吸引境外學生來本校就讀在學習的環境上，我們提供境外學生多元學習課程與支持機制，鼓勵並確保境外生來臺專心就學。在生活照顧上，我們設有國際生學伴機制，確保每位國際生有一位本地生做學伴；且於每一全英語授課學程設置專業指導教師（academic advisors）與國際導師（international mentors）提供國際生專業諮詢。本著本校關懷的教育理念，我們設置了國際生廚房與回教祈禱室，凸顯校園多元文化，俾使本校學生在校園生活中就可以與外籍生交流，讓培育世界觀落實在校園的日常。

To actively foster an internationalized campus atmosphere that attracts overseas students, we provide diverse curricula and support mechanisms, ensuring international students can focus comfortably on their academic pursuits in Taiwan. Regarding daily life care, we implement an international student buddy system, pairing each international student with a local student. Furthermore, professional academic advisors and international mentors are assigned to every English-taught program to offer specialized counseling. Grounded in our university's core value of caring, we have set up an international student kitchen and a Muslim prayer room to highlight campus multiculturalism. This allows local students to interact naturally with international peers in daily life, embedding the cultivation of a global worldview into the campus routine.
