特聘教授吳文琪及八位研究生，活用AR科技結合英語教學，讓霧峰區光正國小孩童體驗用科技學英文的樂趣。

亞洲大學外文系特聘教授吳文琪，與外文系碩士班「英語語言教材教法」八位同學，去年底，到霧峰區較偏遠的光正國小，使用實驗室開發的 AR game based App「Stem Up」（英文學習體動起來），針對低、中、高年級分程度教學，搭配課堂上習得的教學方法，以不同英語主題，設計多元有趣的數位化英語教材，讓學童體驗用科技學英文的樂趣。
Late last year, Distinguished Professor Wen-Chi Wu of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Asia University, along with eight students from the master's course "TESOL Materials and Methods," visited the remote Guangzheng Elementary School in Wufeng District. Utilizing the AR game-based App "Stem Up" developed by their laboratory, they provided tailored instruction for low, middle, and high-grade students. Blending classroom teaching methodologies with diverse English themes, they designed interactive digital teaching materials that offered school children an exciting experience of learning English through advanced technology.
亞大外文系主任陳淑娟指出，系上長期耕耘霧峰區的小學，讓系上研究生有機會實行實際英語教學實習。陳主任表示，科技與生活密不可分，吳教授的課程中，讓研究生充分運用科技結合英語教學法，落實亞大USR大學社會責任的理念。此次，外文系AR科技結合英語教學實作與教學，共六次課程，每次長達兩個半小時，研究生參與偏鄉國小英語教學，本身也學到很多。
Shu-Chuan Chen, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, noted that the department has long cultivated partnerships with primary schools in Wufeng, offering graduate students hands-on teaching internships. Chair Chen emphasized that technology is inseparable from daily life, and Professor Wu's curriculum enables graduate students to seamlessly integrate technology with English pedagogy, fully implementing AU's University Social Responsibility (USR) values. This initiative comprised six sessions, each lasting two and a half hours, allowing graduate students to gain substantial teaching insights while serving rural schools.
光正國小校長阮志偉表示，亞大外文系碩班研究生教學認真，光正的學生收穫良多，學校師生都很感謝。阮校長並頒發感謝狀給吳老師及八位研究生。
Chih-Wei Ruan, Principal of Guangzheng Elementary School, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the faculty and students, commending the graduate students for their dedication and the fruitful learning outcomes. Principal Ruan subsequently presented certificates of appreciation to Professor Wu and the eight graduate students.
