亞洲大學為落實美好永續校園，舉辦「2022永續實踐深耕校園競賽」，分為教職員組、學生組，鼓勵全校師生發想，以校園為場域，就節能減碳、生態環境、氣候變遷、健康福祉、教育品質等議題探索發想。教職員組分2階段選出6隊，獲選後可得獎勵補助並執行成果；學生組選出前3名和最佳人氣獎。

To establish a wonderful and sustainable campus, Asia University organized the "2022 Sustainable Practice Campus Cultivation Competition." Divided into Faculty and Student categories, the event encouraged the entire university community to brainstorm solutions using the campus as a practical venue, exploring topics such as energy conservation, carbon reduction, ecological environment, climate change, health and well-being, and educational quality. The Faculty Category selected six teams through a two-stage process to receive reward subsidies for project implementation, while the Student Category awarded the top three places and the Best Popularity Award.

亞大副校長兼永續長吳聰能表示，為鼓勵入兩組隊伍將研發創意和構想，給予獎勵補助配合輔導執行，希望為亞大爭取在「北美高等教育永續聯盟」(AASHE)的「永續評鑑、評估與評分系統」(STARS)、台灣永續能源研究基金會所主辦的永續發展賽有優異表現，更重要的是用全校研協美好永續生活而努力。

Thung-In Wu, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of AU, stated that to encourage the selected teams from both categories to implement their R&D creativity and concepts, reward subsidies and mentorship were provided. The initiative aims to help AU achieve outstanding performance in the "Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System" (STARS) of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and sustainability competitions hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE). More importantly, it unites the entire university to collaborate on building a beautiful and sustainable life.

教職員組永續體察有6隊獲選，包括：①吳櫻珊、簡慧雯、劉淵珍、樊御希老師，「帶領德學莎·航向元宇宙」提案；②詹盛如、干昭能、陳兆南、陳慧書、王月鶯老師，「邁向永續校園：以永續空間設計及綠建材創擴閒置空間再利用」提案；③卓美秀、陳昇飛、林宛蓁、何湘華老師，「翻轉下一世代人師永續教育計畫」提案；④王月鶯、張庫蘭老師，「阿里山綠色經濟湧動數位加值永續USR計畫」提案；⑤徐善伴、林玉鳳、吳文慈老師，「農業廢棄物之再利用與附加價值提升計畫 以菇類下腳料為例」提案；⑥廖御圻、張瀚云老師，「高齡化社區高齡者之心理需求服務初探—以台中霧峰之瓜照服務為例」提案。

Six teams were selected in the Faculty Category for their sustainability observations, including: 1) Profs. Ying-Shan Wu, Hui-Wen Chien, Yuan-Chen Liu, and Yu-Hsi Fan's proposal "Leading Tech-Salsa: Sailing into the Metaverse"; 2) Profs. Sheng-Ju Chan, Chao-Nien Kan, Chao-Nan Chen, Hui-Shu Chen, and Yueh-Ying Wang's proposal "Towards a Sustainable Campus: Reusing Idle Spaces through Sustainable Space Design and Green Building Materials"; 3) Profs. Mei-Hsiu Cho, Sheng-Fei Chen, Wan-Chen Lin, and Hsiang-Hua Ho's proposal "Flipping the Next Generation of Teachers Sustainability Education Project"; 4) Profs. Yueh-Ying Wang and Ku-Lan Chang's proposal "Alishan Green Economy Surge Digital Value-Added Sustainable USR Project"; 5) Profs. Shan-Pan Hsu, Yu-Feng Lin, and Wen-Tzu Wu's proposal "Agricultural Waste Reuse and Value-Adding Project: Taking Mushroom Waste By-products as an Example"; 6) Profs. Yu-Chi Liao and Han-Yun Chang's proposal "A Preliminary Study on the Psychological Needs and Services of the Elderly in Aging Communities: Taking the Melon Care Service in Wufeng, Taichung as an Example."

亞大學務長兼副永續長張少樑指出，亞大近年聚焦在永續發展議題，因此永續發展推動辦公室與學生會合作，合辦學生組「2022亞大綠生活校園提案競賽」，希望能為需求創意發想，針對亞大校園洞察，提出校園永續政策及生活永續教育，讓學校行政單位協助執行。

Shao-Liang Chang, Dean of Student Affairs and Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer of AU, pointed out that AU has focused heavily on sustainable development issues in recent years. Consequently, the Center for Sustainable Development Goals partnered with the Student Association to co-host the Student Category's "2022 AU Green Life Campus Proposal Competition." The event aimed to inspire creative ideas based on insights gained from auditing the AU campus, proposing campus sustainability policies and lifestyle sustainability education that can be jointly executed by university administrative units.

學生組選出前3名和人氣獎。由護理系老師陳淑雯指導，「請支援收繳隊」許筱葳、林郁蘋同學，以「健人點點機－減少碳足跡」方案，獲得第1名及人氣獎。該方案主要以鼓勵大家走樓梯代替搭電梯，達到節能減碳目標，並加入數位集點方式，每梯在指定的各棟大樓設置專屬QRcode提供掃描，用摸彩獎勵方式鼓勵執行。

The Student Category awarded the top three spots and the Popularity Award. Guided by Prof. Shu-Wen Chen from the Department of Nursing, students Hsiao-Wei Hsu and Yu-Ping Lin from the team "Please Support Collection" won 1st Place and the Popularity Award for their "Healthy People Dot-Dot Machine: Reducing Carbon Footprint" scheme. The project encourages everyone to take the stairs instead of the elevator to achieve carbon reduction targets, integrating a digital point collection system where specific QR codes are set up in designated buildings for scanning, paired with a raffle reward system to incentivize implementation.

由生醫系老師張旭均指導，「綠色實踐隊」張育月、劉芳語同學，以「電力的發電 菸蒂瓶落實鏈」方案，藉由「電力的發電 菸蒂瓶落實鏈」，拜訪小學或社區活動中心等地方，教導如何產生微噸級的電，藉此教育民眾簡單的能源與節能知識，獲第2名及人氣獎。

Guided by Prof. Hsu-Chun Chang from the Department of Biomedical Informatics, Yu-Yueh Chang and Fang-Yu Liu from the "Green Practice Team" proposed the "Power Generation & Cigarette Butt Bottle Implementation Chain" initiative. By visiting elementary schools or community centers, they demonstrated how to generate micro-scale electricity, educating the public on basic energy and energy-saving concepts, thereby secure 2nd Place and the Popularity Award.

學士後護理系老師季慧珍指導，「後護拓荒隊」高羽婕、劉又義、趙資竹同學，以「綠能守護者樂險x智慧x永續學習x守護健康」方案，藉由塑造健康體驗教學、簡易衛教課程，提升全民智慧3C素養、基礎健康與福祉認知能等，獲第3名。

Guided by Prof. Hui-Chen Chi from the Post-Baccalaureate Department of Nursing, Yu-Chieh Kao, Yu-Yi Liu, and Tzu-Chu Chao from the "Post-Nursing Pioneers" team secured 3rd Place with their "Green Energy Guardians: Adventure x Intelligence x Sustainable Learning x Health Protection" project. The proposal improves public digital literacy, basic health, and well-being cognition through immersive health education experiences and simplified health seminars.

學士後護理系老師季慧珍指導，將於6月21日、28日、6月15日三大，研討世界各點開設「淨零特攻」等講座與選讀課程，這校全體專用並對營運前者、中小學學生。經由一系列課程發演客、框架體系、協助全機固盤與各建設中和。淨零專攻效益無雙更第一、永續如何經營！

Additionally, under the guidance of Prof. Hui-Chen Chi, major seminars and elective courses such as "Net-Zero Special Task Force" will be held on June 15, 21, and 28, targeting global sustainability trends. These courses are open to the entire university, campus operators, and elementary/middle school students. Through this series of curricula, guest speakers, and framework development, the school will facilitate total carbon inventory and carbon neutrality in various developments, driving paramount net-zero efficiency and practical sustainability management.

President Jeffrey J. P. Tsai emphasized that AU is fully committed to integrating sustainability and cross-disciplinary R&D into teaching and research, actively implementing sustainable campus operations, and fulfilling social responsibility through collective efforts university-wide.
